Fatman what in heck's name did you do to your hip? My leg goes numb when I stand too long, but it's because of my nerve damage in my back. So I know about can't sit long and can't stand long. Heck now with diabites I can't walk long either. Hope it gets better soon!

X2 Fatman. Get better soon, things to do ya know.

My goodness My goodness so neat. That is a neat idea may have to adapt something like that. I do like the rough wood and will go out and cut a piece off with the chain saw. Don't let them give you a bad time about those cutters I have two pair at my tying bench and there are times they come in handy. Use mine for cleaning flash that I miss in clean up and the side I use to smooth the spure. I have a pair of small offset side cuttters that will cut any thing I throw at it from 18 guage wire to fine thread.

Ah, good idea and wouldn't have thought of that because I get the guy I buy my heads from to leave collars off unless it's one of the very few I get with a collar. Your idea should work great for that!

One thing I thought of make sure if you have ceramic tipped bobbins you might want to put something down in those holes so you don't acidentally crack one

    Skip

Actually went about a month thinking it was a ripped muscle and then my back started acting up and went back to the Doc who thought it was from a prior back injury just re-injured and she says you're goint to PT no and's if's but's or or's and when they did my initial eval the PT guy says your left leg is longer than your right, and then sticks his thumbs in the hip area and tell's me my hip is popped out and feels like it's rotated forward, basically out of alignment. Tells me to lay still and says this shouldn't hurt (YEAH RIHGT!!!!!!!!!!!) push's and twists and I hear it and FEEL it pop back in (can't use the words to describe the pain that shouldn't have hurt) and it actually felt way better.

The muscles are healing up but the ligaments are still getting back to normal, so it's gonna be a while

Skip I do pray for a healing for you and still pray for your son. Do you have a Christmas update for us?

That is a neat station Toby. If you do a search on jig tying stations in this forum you will find a wealth of other ideas to incorporate. Nice job.

    Fatman

"shouldn't hurt" is the most misused term to DRs. That's why I don't go and haven't been in like 17 yrs.

    Hope everyones' ailments heal fast.

Wow Fatman that is really strange, but at least your healing now. Good luck with that buddy! Just take your time to get it right as starting over again is not going to be good. So best safe than sorry huh?

Thank you Ship and hate to say it but I am thinking we need some prayers with all that has gone on for the last 10 years or so.
