i wouldn't know how to go about a patent search. you evidently got a mold for the crawfish. have you thought about just selling the crawfish without the lip and hook?

The reason I made the craw was first a special birthday present . One of a kind deal for a friend who has always backed me even when he thought I was wrong. I also gave him the mold. I could make another but heck their are so many good craws out there you just can't imagine. I'd bet a nickle someone right now on this site makes or knows where to get almost the same thing . Google Coosa Redeye I think he has one I'm not sure. I quit commercial tackle making 15 or more years ago. Now I do it for myself and a few others along with helping others to learn the satisfaction of catching a fish on something they created themselves.

i think there was a strike king dances craw that looked like that. i used to have one. i took the lure body out and super glued it on a 5/8 oz jig head. caught fish on it for several years before i lost it.

You may be right . I may see if STRIKE KING will answer an email. I'd sure like to know.

It was made by strike king, and Bill Dance endorsed it..... I had 3 or 4 of them and used them up. Great small mouth bait. I would love to find some more of them.
