    Default The Wig Jig

Like Skip was talking about, I went by Wal Mart and picked up a couple of Halloween wigs. They were too small for my big bald head so I guess I'll make jigs out of them. LOL

also looking your dollar store. Ours had the same thing but may be different material, but pretty close to the same. Those wigs there you would have a lot of material I don't know what you paid for them but I would imagine you got a good deal. what does that stuff look like in the water,

    Nice jigs.
I got the devil wig for my red, but I wanted the 2 you got, but since I had 9 already I just told the wife to look at the start of next month for a sale to see if any of them can be had for $2 or something like that. Only tied one using a blond wig so far, but I can tell you that the Don King wig will be one that catches a lot of fish. It's so close to the craft fur one that is black turning silver/white just like this or very close and I tried that one and it works well.

Am headed to Wally world tomarrow to see if I can score me one the the blue ones. The red looks good just depends on price as to how many I will get. Yes I am about as frugal as they come. Will also check the Dollar stores to see what I can find there. Then it will be to the tying bench to roll out some of those fish getters.

Thanks guys, I think I paid $6 apiece for the wigs. I thought about waiting till after halloween and try to catch em on sale, but that would have been a gamble. Like Skip said, I'll still check out the sale stuff anyway. I doubt it has much movement in the water, but for longlining or spider rigging when you are moving, I think it will do fine. I tied a few with a blue pill head/red chenille/blue tail with some red flash added and I think they will be killers.
