    Smile 1/8 oz Spinner Baits

I have had one of those years where the Warmouth have been eatin up a 1/4 oz spinner bait . so not having a 1/8 oz mold I got one and have made up a "Batch" ... I especially wanted it for some shallow water around the mouth of the river .. I think it came out real well and so have a few fish .. Bass, Warmouth and Mudfish .. The wire is extra light .028 ... with the Indiana Blade and 1/0 hook rounds it our ... I have a few extra..... Main ones I have been making are 1/4 & 3/8 with a few 1/2 oz ... Not much of a Hair or feather tier bet it would come out good.

Very nice.I think that the 1/8 oz. is a good all round size for pretty much everything that I fish for.I just made up some 1/8 oz. myself with some cool blades that I wanted to try out yesterday, lol. The fish were hitting the worms so well that I never got a chance to try em out.I have a post on some 1/8 oz. spinnerbaits here on this forum somewhere.

    Thanx Guys

Hope to get back out in a few days ... Dr. Appointments and all of that kinda stuff for a few days .... Did go with a Fishin buddy and his daughter along with Granson #3 Labor Day AM for a couple of hours .. he had permission to go to a Pond (really a good size "Borrow Pit") ... reel disapointed as the water was muddied up .. the friend caught a cat on a cricket .. Granson caught 5 gills up to hand size, and I got one 1/2# + on a little craw spinner ... as per attached ... first timie I had used it ... the long part of the craw I cut off to keep the "Nippers" at bay ... had the craw mold for some time but just had not done any thing with it (to many toys to work with and not enough time)..

First time been fishin from the bank in a while .. on the river its Boat fishin.
