Gotta agree looks modified, plus the one top corner of the side that you show the mold name looks like some welding on the corner too.
Still looks like it'll make a good jig head though

Try some 3-D eyes with them. Probably take a 4mm,maybe a 5.
I wonder how I am going to put them on JJJ, the drilled out sections are pointed and not rounded but I guess I can either file them down or trim them down to make them fit. I was thinking those fancy sequins might work for these but will have to see once I get my melting pot and get some poured. Maybe if I powder paint them rgith it will leave a nice seat for the 3-d eyes.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.
You can file them or use a punch and flatten them. I know guys who
use JB weld and fill em. But I'm with you on anything stick-on, those are
better on recessed or flat, to bad they drilled them all. If you wanted,
you could "fix" it at a machine shop.

I would fill them with JB Weld ... that is what we call in this area a "Pompano Jig" .. most of us dont use eyes on them ... I looked that mold up in the only Palmer catalog I have and it was not listed ... The outside of the mold, showing you the jig, does not show having eyes ... Good Ol Jig

It has been repaired but can't complain after getting it for $4 on Ebay. Was that way when I got it but who cares as long as I can pour jig heads with it.

Heck, after pouring, all them old molds have a little flash on the sides of them anyway, just file the eye flat. While you are cleaning them up.Then just put on a stick on eye after painting.Did'nt see your post crappiedoc, lol. We must think alike on certain things.

I don't know if I want to be filing them flat. Too many uses otherwise with them raised. Maybe a few to try them but no reason not to leave them. I will find a way to either put eyes on them or use them some other way.

Here's a pic of the banana head mold, it says worm head jig mold but it's definately a banana head.

After pouring them fish, lol.Just leave that mold alone and if you don't want the raised eye file it off your head.Maybe two swipes with a file, lol.
