    Default RTV Silicon

Anybody used the silicon for mold making, I know the spin-casters use it.
Seems like a good, inexpensive way to make some start up molds. I've
watched some DVDs on it, but haven't tried it. Seems like you could use it
for lead and plastic pouring. I know this is the forum for some answers

I have used RTV silicon with good results. Try Miniature Molds at this number-

They have pretty good stuff. For smaller jigs I have used their slabs of rubber with their Vulca Mold tool. I think they have a bit different system now. Check them out.

I have used it and made nice molds. however I find with the smaller bait molds it does not work so well. Yes, it works, but not like I had wanted. The stuff is pretty expensive I think. I copied several baits pretty well with it, but the process was just to troublesome for me. However some may like it.

I made some a while back using 2 part epoxy for holding fake flower arrangements. They came out pretty good even though I had no clue what I was doing. They were not small plastic molds but worked all the same.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

    Default Bass Bull....RTV MOLDS

I've made and used a lot of these molds and they work just fine.Tho from up above someone said they are a little touchy making small jigs, this could be.I have made a lot of 3/16 swim jigs for bass and thats about as small as I have tried. If you have any questions e-mail me and I will try and help you out. The overpour on the one piece small molds is the problem. It is just way too time consuming for me. It does work if you want to take them time and get mixed results. However it is not my cup of tea. Some people do well with it and like it though

Would your health issue happen to be a high lead count in your body?
