    Default Braided Minnow

I went a lil out of my comfort zone with this one. The tail is pearl core braid that is stiffer than chenille. It has just enough strength to hold itself straight. Tying the tail feathers to the braid can definitely get the blood boiling! So you might want to make sure no small children are around. The best way I found is to clamp the feathers to the braid with hemostats and then tie.

That is a very different tie for sure but I like it. I wonder if a snell know will hold the feathers in the braid? Maybe with some head cement or super glue.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

    Thumbs up

    I really like that one!!!
It looks like a huge Chironomid! That's one of the main forage foods for my Crappie in the winter here.
