    I made these a long time ago but they are camo. Could use a tail and some other feathers but they worked for steelhead and trout.
    I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

    1 heck of a weave if they were grey thay would look those tater bugs as we call them. The ones you touch and they ball up

    No way these would float, way too heavy, lots of lead wrap and weight under them. Could put them over foam to make them float but not sure I could tie them small enough to make a pill bug or sow/tater bug.
    I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

    Jig turned out good Scott. Good colors for camo I will try tying one tomorrow.

    Looks like a cross between a rollie pollie (sow bug) and a lawn chair. I can see it takes some skill to tie them.

    I've been tying woven body flies for the first time this past week. Punch embroidery yarn in two-tone gray would be MONEY for a pill bug! Good ties!
