Lightbulb A storage box for chenille

Someone may have already made something like this but this is the box I made.

I wanted something to organize all the chenille that is being stored all over and around my tying station. I had a few utility boxes and this is the storage I made for the chenille.
I went to Harbor Freight and bought some 5/16 grommets. On the back side of the box I marked places for 18 holes and drilled a 5/16 hole and installed a grommet in each hole.
I used two dividers per roll for a total of 18 sections. To load turn the front of the box up and open. Start the chenille through the grommet and let around 2'' hang out of the box then load the remaining chenille in a section.
After loading all sections close the top and turn the back of the box up. Now you have all of the chenille together.
I also wrote down the color and number of each chenille onto a address label and placed them beside the grommets for reorder info.
This may help someone get a little organized. Below are the pictures.

Thanks, I looked at the line boxes too. LOL I couldn't put enough in one but if I ordered more chenille at a time those boxes would be great!!

Ronnie you need to apply for a patent on that! I will have to make one myself, unless you want to get rid of one of those. I like the full one! LOL Great idea and thanks for the tip!

Very good idea. Even if you start buying by the skein you don't use it all at once. You can just cut a few yards off.
