Skip, anyone can tie jig or a fly, the difference is showing them the way to do it and make a quality item. I think this is where a video done by you would make the difference. I have watched probably over 100 videos on line and I always tweak and modify them instructions to improve the durability and quality of all of them. showing a beginner tier how to do it the right way and not the easy way will only add to their interest when their jigs out fish and outlast anything they can buy.

I think kids groups and other such organizations would love to find a quality tying video and it would help them teach those interested to do it right. Having a "special" unique tie on the video wouldn't hurt, something very effective that you will simply not find in stores.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

Skip, I would love to have a copy of a DVD by you. I'm just learning the techniques of jig tying and I need to learn the correct way. The UTube videos are very helpful but even at my novice level, I can see things I would do differently. I know you do things correctly and efficiently and that's the way I need to learn it. Thanks guys and no have not used the Jungle Cock yet, LOL! I started to a few weeks back and wanted to tie that Parks Shrimp that I linked to the video of it, but when I started getting materials together I saw right off I didn't have any black floss. I knew that I could sub any feathers I needed, but I did want the black floss and have it now. I just need a few days of getting jigs done first now plus I have some remodeling under way here on the kitchen and back deck is getting screened in and roof over it. So many things pulling at me that I have to get done first, but believe me I am chomping at the bit to get one done. I even bought 2 more Jungle Cock Capes and not really sure why, now have 3, LOL! For the money they sure are small.

I think it's a great ideal skip I hope you make one on power paint on how to use it and how you put it on the jig head.

Without trying to blow smoke at you I have to say that your expertise and success would have value when shared. You have a lot to offer even the experienced tyer. As you have said, this isn't free and your time also has value. Hard call. I'd pay a good bit to sit with you as you tie. But you' probably shoot me or run me off cuz I'd have questions like a 5 yr old. Would definitely like to watch you work.

I'd take a copy. From what I've seen, many/most of the stuff on Youtube is blurry and somewhat out of focus. High quality closeups would be a definite plus.
