I watched it PBUG,good video.Be honest now,do you think that it is the jig,or the minnow?I have never tipped any of my hand ties with a minnow, seems to defeat the purpose,I think.I'm not being mean, just trying to figure out if a minnow and hook and slip bobber would produce as well as the tipped jig did.

i talked to him about that....he tried with hook and boober caught a few. then tried jigs caught a few also....but he said with the pink jig it seemed to work better in his words with the minnow...but the pink had a better catch ratio i was told....but like you said did the minnow have the best results....was it the deal breaker.may have been i dont know...i like to think it was my jig lol

Pbug, good to see you makin tracks again. Cool vid.

AZ, I have seen the jig make a world of difference over just a hook and shiner.

When I saw that bobber move,my whole body jerked. You make some really good looking jigs. I never use minnow tipped jigs, but I have put crappie nibbles on two spider rigged poles with jigs and two without and the nibbles catches the most fish, at least for me they did.
    It ain't nuttin but luck.
