    Default about the bobbin holder

I have found it to be in the way. The way I wrap chenille is so much easier for me. After I tie on the chenille at the hook end and wrap the thread to the head, I just make 5 or 6 extra wraps at the head. Then when I turn the rotary crank and wind the chenille on, the extra wraps at the head unwind. I never have liked that bobbin holder. I'm sure this is nothing new, but was wondering if anyone else does it this way.
    It ain't nuttin but luck.

The vise I tie on has a post that is about 14" sway from the vise and is completely different than what you have. I have tied on Renzetti and Peak that both have that and for the most part I agree it's in the way more than not.
