The overall look reminds me of the anniversary addition roadrunners. Which, I really like, and they catch fish. So, I think they look great.

I love them. If you give number 2 purple chenille it would look like my personal favorite including the flash. I just trim my flash a little shorter to the hackle than you. I also like this chenille better when it's wet. I almost always put my first material ties and water and see how they look and act. I've learned they can take on a total different look and action in the water then expected. Thanks for sharing
