    Default My jigs WILL catch fish!!!


    Finally caught 'em this afternoon. Kept 17 and they all came on jigs I did, YEAH!!! Caught fish on 5 different patterns but 2 caught most of 'em. My old standby orange/yellow tail did great and the the ones I call an Arkansas shiner, gold head, light green body and dun tail. Awesome afternoon.

    Thanks man, it was a fun afternoon. Caught a good mess and the wife was really happy to finally get on some decent fishing. Will post a pic when I get them uploaded, prolly tomorrow.

    Can't beat that Arkansas fishun. HUH? I know the feeling when you catch them on your handy work. Where were you fishing? I fish Nimrod and Lake Dardanelle mostly but getting ready to work Blue Mountain over real soon.

    Those were from Conway. I have always done the majority of my fishing on the lower White and Arkansas and the some of the lakes in that area. Since I moved to Maumelle a couple years ago I am trying to learn some of the lakes in this area. The only lake I was already familiar with was Barnett. We have been hitting Conway and Brewer mostly.
