I've worked with epoxies for years in my day job (aerospace). Usually you can get full cure by either extending the cure time or upping the cure temp but not necessarily both at the same time. Most of what I deal with is driven by engineering specifications but within those specifications there is usually a preferred cure and and an alternate cure. One is usually at room temp (won't apply here obviously) and takes quite awhile and then there is an accelerated cure which calls for some temp above ambient and a much shorter time.
I said all this to make the point that within certain parameters there is more than one way to get the same result. One of the axioms in my business is that it's hard to over cure at a given temp but an under cure will get you killed....
One thing to consider is toaster ovens probably don't hold heat too good, and probably isn't too accurate of a temperature.
I do 20 minutes on everything and let them sit in the oven til cool to the touch.
toaster ovens can reach much higher temps near the heat coils before it reaches the thermostat. Most are on or off. while on they put out a lot of heat and that can result in inconsistent curing
Yeah, I use a toaster oven and even though I use an oven thermometer I still don't trust it too much. I cure everything at 375* for at least 20 min.
I've had more problems with temps being too high than a little low... but each to their own, and if your method works for you... that's all that really matters!
I cure mine for 20min and have no problems...
