Thank you. Most of the time it is what you have confidence in. My Kip tails are a little shorter than my marabou. I use a general guideline that the tail is about 1/3 the size of the jig but 99% of the time I just eyeball it. Remember the old Brylcreme ad. "a little dab will do you. "
