Yeah the darn thing turn that wide side to you and the pull is on. Where red fish in the shallow bays just run like crazy. Every once in a while a big school of jacks would come through and man they get big and are so tough and wide too. Was out with a fried one day and a school of jacks came right by us and we both just pitched our spoons into them. Well he got one I didn't (glad later) and he was using a really short rod he liked a lot and one of the really old cardinal 3 spinning reels. Well it was 27 pounds and took us about an hour running after him to land that thing. His drag was disintegrated and the reel was done.
Now that fish can pull your arms off.

I'm always amazed at the local names for fish..
Skip, I'm only about a 2 hr. drive from you and around here they call that a "gaspergoo". Growing up on Ky. Lake we called up "white perch".. White Perch in east Texas is a crappie...lol
I didn't get to go to the bridge today. I did try to adjust some of it, but can't seem to find the way to turn of the Enhanced. I went for a quick ride with the wife and we didn't get back early enough for her to put up with me going over to the bridge even though it is not but a mile away. I do hope to look at the bridge tomorrow as one of my neighbors wants to go see what the Side scan shows, but the bridge is for me, LOL! I will go when I need break from tying as I don't want to fall too far behind.
I didn't think my picture was all that good, but I am still trying to find the right settings for me here. I was in a place not good for viewing anyway.
Sure appreciate your help and now if I can just get that Enhanced turned off, but not sure it's possible as I didn't see an off on it other than on sharpness. I guess that I am still a bit foggy on this thing.
