Nice fish Skip. That's a great start to to season. Those jigs look great too, what size heads?
HAVE A CRAPPIE DAY
Hmmm... That board was built to handle much larger fish... Looks like Skip has plans for bigger things...
Nice Job Skip!... Nice jigs too.
lol most action that board will see all year
way to go skip! and robert, that is a real nice job on the mold. don't see skip using the kiptail much, I can't seem to get away from the stuff. lol
Not trying to hijack, and hopefully adding to skips thread.
Some of y'all may or may not remember these little jewels!?
My 3 coat powder painted, all 3 colors glow, Firetiger 1/32 oz. jigs.
Well I tried them out yesterday with a little 2" chartreuse plastic curly tail grub...
... and tipped with a 1-1 1/2" live Tuffy minnow, 5' below a cork and drifted/trolled very slow (.3-.5 mph) over some points in a creek and ended up with these!!!
That's a 2.0 lber. in my left hand and a 1 lb.-8 oz. in m my right hand.
After a very windy day on muddy water we ended up with these!
Not too shabby considering the conditions!
Not much more satisfying than catching some noice feshes off of something you made yourself!!!
nice ones...
