Marabou or Hackle??

i tied all marabou until skip explained how to use the hackle and stuff. now thats all i use...have a few ppl that like marabou, turned a few onto hackle.

I use both all the time on different sizes jigs and flies. Sometimes the fish want a streamline presentation so I will throw hackle tail lures, sometimes they want movement so it is hackle, then they want a bulky lure so it is hackle everywhere, sometimes all of the above. I won't leave home without a variety of lures, some with only hackle, some with marabou and some with both.
