Just a thought

The Redman sees so many of your good looking jig and creations on this board. I was wondering if you could post twice. Once in your thead and the second time in the jig pictures which is a sticky. This would give us a permanate record and we could refer back to it if needed. They then would be in one place and not be scattered all over the threads. and easier to find.

Then before it got to big maybe someone could put them in different files by catagory. Just a thought from a old geezer.

I have a similar idea to make a gallery of sorts but would have to run it off site and just post the link.... A good chunk of work involved in that to do it right. What kind of categories would you make to seperate them? Just picking brains to see what others think.

I would also like to gather the older swap pics as well to get all in one place, but many have been moved or are missing..... Any of the previous swapmeisters, if you still have the pics, please send me a PM and I will give you my email addy.

Not sure where you would start. I started saving pics of other member's jigs to my computer that I thought looked good based on a few factors... Clean work, good colors, unique and so on. Just hope I am looking at things with an un-bias eye. Also trying to keep track of who and what they are by keeping them in seperate folders.

As far as categories, I was thinking a little more general:
Bugs
Craws
Flies/Jig Hybrid
Micro
Misc
Spinners
...
...

Sorry Guys : My modum went down and have not been able to be on line for two days. I do think that some one should do this and would think that right on this part of the forum would be the right spot. Don't think that having it off site would be any advantage. If it were here we could all use it for a quick reference. Not to hurt any ones feelings but I feel that this is why this forum was started and why we need this improvement to it.

This is why I put up the suggestion. We may find that doing this it may become the premier jig site on the web.
