    That 3rd pic the tail look cut off and it should never look like that In my opinion. Just make sure to cut from the other end on everything you make as a tail.

    I do know you just started and you are doing a really good job. All of them look like you have been tying longer than you have.

    Just that one thing I saw that was really wrong.

    Yeah I didnt like it either, but now I know. I guess it is just one of many lessons I have yet to learn at this new hobby. But thanks for the constructive criticism, it always helps.

    If you will take the jig and hold the feathers with you finger close to the end. just enough to where you want the tail to come to and pluck the tail with your other hand the tail will not look like its cut. you can shape it this way without the cut look.

    You're doing a real good job. Good colors. If you want to hide the thread near the head try using 70 denier thread instead of 210. Just easier to hide. Drop of H A N ties it all when done. Not wrong, just a different way to do it. Keep it up.
