Started framing the Man Cave today. Normally would have this done in a day. But have to pace myself. Gonna end up with a 8' x 13' room for rod building , jig and fly tying , casting lead and of course painting.

Will also be used to BS about fishin ,politics and to complain about just about everything.

This is my tying area. It is in my garage.

Kip tails, marabou, flashabou, hackle etc is stored in the drawers. Tying tools are on the desk light.

Other tying materials are in these cabinets.

    Works for me.

Started moving equipment into the new tying area today. All framing work and electrical work are done. Now just a simple matter of setting every thing up how I want it..

Wife was helping me sort thru some stuff today. I had to laugh when she said " You know if you haven't used it in 20 years you don't need it. " I have to admit I are a packrat.

Will post pix when setup complete.

Yeah guys the sad part is I have to add storage or rearrange stuff all the time because I am always buying new stuff. I now have every inch of the under side on that tow tables I sit in front of filled with cabinets and other kind of storage boxes. I have a disease and that is clear and why I warn everyone that starts that this addiction can get really bad.

Yes I pretty much know where everything is except when I rearrange it for a few days after that I look in the wrong place until I get use to it again.

I order probably several times a month and lots of it new things or adding to the back up stuff. I get carried away at times and just have several things that colors may be just s very little different and that is because every place I buy stuff I feel the need to see what their color looks like on my favorite colors. Kind of silly huh? I bet I have 3 or 4 shades of blue that are very close because I was looking for the right shade, not to mention several shades of dark blue. Pinks, FL Yellow, Chart are some of the problems I have, LOL!

I can't tell you how many things I have not even used or trying to put on the market just because I have not go to it yet.

For everyone, don't do what I do, LOL! Your wife may not understand ad now you all know why it's a hobby to me and I don't make more money than just to buy more stuff.

You wouldn't believe how many dry fly capes and hackle and saddles are in one of my drawers. It's just crazy and I am probably about to buy a Jungle cock cape for just under $200. I just feel I need the nails for flies and if I can find a way to include them in jigs I probably will, but no one will buy any because of the cost. The nails sell for about $1.00 each and put on on two sides and then the rest of the jig or fly added on makes for a costly fly or jig.

    Happy buying guys,
