Don't let that stop you...... You can make a bobbin holder pretty easy from a coat hanger. Wrap one end around the vertical rod of the vise. Bend it into an open shaped "L" and then bend a little hook into the top part of the hanger.

I'll try to draw it out quick, not sure if you will understand from this crude mock-up. Look at a picture of the actual bobbin holder for your vise and you might get the idea.



The "+" symbol is your vise jaws. The "?" is the hook bent on the end of the hanger. The red would be the hanger and black is the vise.

sorry for the confusion....its the actual bobbin im missing. Thanks for the cool computer art.....my vise has one of those. Im new so im still learning the lingo.
