    flatfish, good point about the length of the bou. what is the best marabou to use I got some 1/4oz strung blood quills, and select plumes. i really don't care for the plumes myself.

    Your using the best in Blood Quill just pull it further towards the head and shorten the tail lenght trim the excess off.

    For your first ones they are pretty good. I saw a few where you took and trimmed the tail. Some of your marabou is way too long. Personally I like the natural uncut tail. It makes a better presentation in the water.

    personally I like the uncut to Ship so I going to take flatfish's advice and pull the quill up higher toward the jig head and cut,tye. thanks guys for the great comments.

    I see why your first ties look good, you tie your spinnerbait skirts. Nice looking jigs and a really nice spinnerbait!!!!!!!!!!!!! Second welcome to the boards.

    You can fish for crappie and bass if you want too, they hang out in the same places.
