Well just got done getting 15-18 inches of snow out of driveway. Wife had fit as I have heart surgery scheduled this tues.

Had to explain to her that Monday we gotta go for prep work. Have to be able to get out of driveway. Was also thinking about being able to get to tying station but I kept that part from her.

Anyway took it real easy and let the Yamaha snowblower do its thing. Most years I wonder why I bought the thing. But every now and then a storm like this reminds me.

Living " out in the sticks " do have some drawbacks but I vastly prefer over city living. Maybe tommorow go tie some more

Drive that bad boy down the road and come blow out my driveway. I am not even gonna try to dig out till the wind dies down. Have 2 drifts in my driveway, 1 about 2' tall and the other is pushing 3'. I'm out in the country as well, and wide open fields in every direction but the fence row to the South-East. This NE wind is stacking the snow!

Thoughts will be with you on Tues., just take it easy, tie some jigs.

Hey good luck with that heart surgery. Had that done in 2000 with 5 bypasses. Had no idea that I needed anything so was a big surprise to me, but I guess better fast like that than needing to plan it out.

    Anyway good luck,

I hear you Bob. With wife I got I can't hardly do anything without her thumbs up. I really did pace myself though. Got a lot more fish to catch and a lot more jigs to tie before I check out.

But if the big guy upstairs needs another fisherman to help feed the masses. Who am I to argue ? Just so I not be shoveling coal in the basement.

My son is in a hotel room today near the hospital he was in so up around Georgetown and they are getting a lot of snow. Think it is supposed to be the worst snow storm they ever had. I think something like 3' of snow. Earlier it was said they were going to get at least a foot, but now 3 feet. Don't want to be there in that stuff.

He is supposed to go home to Florida Tuesday I think.

They just sent me a picture from DC & still snowing.

Hey, buddy, good luck with the heart surgery! Hope everything gets back to normal and you're able to fish and tie again! I don't know what's up with the snow this year, seems like all the storms we usually get have gone south of
us! Not complaining you understand, just know what you're going through!
