    I've had really good luck with this glitter:
    Extra Fine Glitter - 1oz Lure Parts Online

    It's fairly expensive, but it goes a long way. You can mix the fire opal glitter with clear powder paint and get a holographic gray that makes an awesome minnow/shad head.
