You're off to a great start! The jigs look good! Better than my first attempt!!!
My first tails were big enough to catch Great Whites
Since I've cut way back on thickness and length of the tails. Yours
may be a little long, but try em and see if the fish like em!!

I like the two on the right more than the left, but they will all catch fish. If you want a shorter tail, trim the root and leave the tips for better action. The right one will do well, shad imitation. Try some tinsel or flash in the side of the bucktails to give em some good definition. Nice work.:D
