Default With 4" of snow and ice

You can tell I have a lot of time on my hands.
I made this one to attract those large males. I call her LadyJessiBelle.

I hate when I whip finish and then see the thread wrapped around the eye.
    It ain't nuttin but luck.

    rtark,
    Jig looks good.
    I like the colors.
That's a good way to spend the time with the white outside.
    Stay warm and safe.

PS Bet the fish won't even see the thread around the eye - if they do it might help make bite it !
PPS Sometimes it is easier to use a Matarelli style whip finisher than fingers that are not as nimble as they once were.

Now that is one of my pet peeves and really makes me want to cuss a lot. However you can fix it if you want. Just may show more thread though. Just wrap the thread a few time around next to the head and do a good whip finish and add glue again. That way if that thread breaks or gets cut the jig may still hold together??

I have on a few occasions even not seen that I had a thread wrap that went completely around the hook point area and I don't have a fix for that except cut it all off and start over.

Maybe I'm seeing things but looks like there is a crappie already sizing that jig up for dinner.

I like it.Nice touch with the eyelashes. Not that it matters, especially with all the snow and ice,but I would put the eyelashes on the other side of the eye, more realistic to those male slabs. I think we all need to get out more, for sure.

Thats what I use. My big ole rough fingers would snag the thread.
I did get the eyelashes upside down didn't I? LOL

Hit the thread with some glue or H A N and trim it off. The fish wont care. Nice tie Ray.
