    Thumbs up Compliments For All

I'm new to crappie .com. But I have been making tackle all my life. From the time I got my first creepy crawler set as a kid. That was when you could get real toys for christmas. Looking at all the jig pictures that have been posted, I have to say that assembled on this site is some of the best natural talent anywhere. To the new tiers you have done very well. But watch out it gets in your blood. You can never Quit! Great site.Great Work.

Thank you, we got this board started a few years back and it has just kept growing and growing. I do warn each and ever one that this is really addicting and not low cost for most of us. I know much I have in materials and I may be a bit to the over do it side and some I know hold back better than I do, but still you just can't seem to stop with what you need. It has to go into things that are new and exciting, when I see something I like I buy it and may even take 6 months or more to decide what to do what it, LOL!

So glad to have you here and hope you enjoy the board.

Ha, Ha, Ha, I had to laugh when you mentioned "creepy crawlers"!! I thought I was the only one old enough to remember them. My brother got the creepy crawler kit when I was about 14. I remember thinking, "hey, I could make some neat lures with that!" I used a lot of em in several gravel pits around my area and can remember thinking...these would be much better if they were
3-D, Man, look what's on the market now
I agree with you on "some of the best natural talent anywhere" and the greatest part is these "big dogs" are more than willing to help us wannbe's along with all of our questions and trials! I have learned a ton of info after not being on the site very long. I used to think I was saving a few bucks by
making my own lures and jigs. Now I realize I'm just able to have wider choices and lots of em!!! Addictive-YES! Satisfying-YES, Boring-NEVER!!

My internal motor runs pretty quick. And I see I'm not alone. I got started to have something to do, inside, this winter. The wife bought me a desk to tie on and store my stuff for Christmas, and it's already overfull. I think the "bug" has me. Great site, great guys and more fun than I ever dreamed.
And a big welcome from Middle Tennessee.

Creepy Crawlers, that brings back memories.I cooked a few myself back in the day.I tried them for bait as well, but can't remember if I ever caught anything on them. It's been awhile for sure. Welcome to cc,pondhopper. I hope you pick up a few tricks here. I know I have.
