I checked out Capt.Hooks Discount Warehouse prices and they aren't bad price wise, but if you wanted to save even more I'd contact Ff46,CRAZY ANGLER TACKLE or Grandpa Bob. Bronze sickles under $20 per 1000 last I checked. This day and age everyone would like to save a few bucks. Prices of hooks are actually down now from a year ago.Happy New Year everyone.

If you don't research prices from many companies these days yu'd be crazy. The worse part is parts for jig molds!!! Hooks can be bad enough but when you use Road Runners they'rs a bunch of parts that have to be bought.

    Trashtrout,
I have a resale # and an account with Shorty's. My resale I use mainly for rod wrapping stuff, but I opened an account with shortys to buy some hooks for a friend. Let me know if I can help in any way.

Did an order from Capt Hooks couple months back and got

    2000 - Size 2
    2000 - Size 4
1000 - Size 6 All were Mustad 32756 Bronze Hook
    250 - Size 2 Red Sickle Hooks
    250 - Size 4 Red Sickle Hooks

With Shipping and Handling everything was $150.28 or roughly 3 Cents a hook. If I'd gone with the Eagle Claw 570's it would have been cheaper and the Eagle Claws are just as good a hook

I want to thank you guys for the good, money-saving, information. I've got Chuck/Debs and Captain Hooks bookmarked now for the next time I need hooks.

I haven't been able to find Grandpa Bob's with Google. What's the website, please?
