    Default Thread-bodied Jigs - Metallics

A couple of crappie jigs I tied with materials received as Christmas presents. Head weight is 1/16 with #4 hook.

The one to the left has Kreinik metallic braid for the body. The other, Gütermann metallic effect thread.

Metallic bodies are nice. No need or want for flashabou accent.

They look good pup. I use some crystal chenille sometimes instead of flash.

Great looking jigs,Pup.I see I wasn't the only one to tie a few on Christmas day. Those will put the hurt on the crappie for sure. You make some really nice eyes. They look like they were done by machine.

    Thanks everyone.

JJJ, Thank you for your compliment on the jig eyes. It took me a while to get the hang of making them.

Below are two more that I tied this evening.
