That is something I had not thought of, thank you for that. Now I will have something else eating away at the thought machine.
They look really cool. Hopefully the fish won't look at them and think they are already eaten and not bite them.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

What I noticed on the jig was the small air bubbles incorporated in the pour. That has the possibilities of making that jig have a great action and slow fall rate compared to a solid body. Doesn't take very much air encapsulated to shift the balance point. And the light refraction off an air bubble is huge. Will it stay clear or does the UV yellow it? I like it.

In Florida, many years back, there was a jig called a Hal-fly. Very similar to what is in the pic and they were top choice of mine come season. Those that you make are several steps up the ladder from those of old and will no doubt do very well with the fish. Good work. Keep stokin the thought machine. Maybe a strip of flash tinsel in the maribou? Just some more food for thought.
