What's everyone's favorite head cement for tying your jigs? I used the black and white label jar forever but they strangely all dried up...so I looked through my random stuff drawer and found a bottle of a milky white head cement.

It's called Troutsmen All Purpose Head Cement, a milky white color, made by Troutsmen Enterprizes. Cost me $2.50 for a 1 oz jar.

I filled up a applicator bottle with it, the one with the long metal tube to get it where you want it, and it's been holding up great. Just half a drop where you tie off and half a drop on the bottom.

Tried it on some jigs, it works great. It's plenty thin, soaks into your thread good, doesn't leave extra hard chenille, doesn't discolor green and yellow chartreuse powder coatings, and best of all, there's no smell! I know I hated using that stuff even with a window open.
