Not the squirrel tails, but the coon tail is bone out and tanned hide. The squirrel tails I have some bought and some I got and just dried them in my garage with regular methods with salt and borax.They were a surprise for me when my customer ask for them and said that is all he uses. They look different than any hair I ever used and are strange looking some what, but the more I looked at them the more I liked them. Little wiry hair and then a puff type stuff as you get closer to the hook and look nothing like I thought they would.
as you can see he did get some feather jigs as well, but loves the coon here is a picture of that order...

I feel the coon is worth you guys taking a look at and trying them. If these had been for me I probably would have put some silver holo flash (one strip down each side).
