    OKJiggy - I actually looked up some info about EP minnows, pretty close to the jigs in your 2nd pict. Talked to some other fly guys who pointed me to congo hair from fly-tyers dungeon. The stuff is pretty cheap! They also have blends of different colors too.

    The shad swap idea sounds good to me!! You are dead on, if there's shad in any given water, there are many different things eatin' them.

    Very original Atticafish"killer looking jigs buddy!i need to try these out.I'm pretty good at reproducing a jig from a pic.I especially like the last 2 w/ the red materials in them.again very nice Chief!:D

    The blue/gray and gray ones are ones I've used on Lakes Ontario and Erie for smallies and walleyes.

    Thanks Fatman!! That gives me a little more confidence in them to know they work on the water I'm fishing! Have to make me up some in gray.... I don't have any blue buck tails. BTW - You just add the first item to my new "wish list." :D
