I feel sorry for those fish's lips!! think the new angles will make a difference in fish-holding capability?

I would like to see a longer point to the first bend on the VMC, but I like how where the load would be placed on it, due to the bends.

I like them all, the barbarian looks good to me and I do think it will hold better than the sickle when I am fishing for some larger fish. I hope one of them will become my all around hooks where I can go from the pond fishing for crappie to the jetty fishing for sea bass and green ling to the river to hook some nice sized salmon.

I think the heavy wire Barbarian would have been the perfect choice but we will see if the light wires can hold up to the punishment that bigger fish will deal out. Who knows, maybe the VMC will be the one that wins out. My money is still on the barbarian but I have been wrong before, just ask my wife.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

My bad, thought the Aberdeen was a VMC, forgot that the barbarians were.

I do like the look of the Barbarian though because of the shorter bend from the shank. Could be handy for putting tails on that face up instead of out.

    Flat

Are these some new hooks you sprung for - proto-types - or are they stock off the shelf?

Are you thinking of putting them on the market?
