    Default jigs

alumacraftjoe and Crappie Dale have inspired me to tie a few, and here's what was produced today:

I tied purple because I wanted some darker jigs and we all know that back works... I also have had a short length of purple chenille for about 3 years and never have tried it. Do yall use purpe often? Also, see that chartreuse/white/pink at the top? I tied one similar to that last year and it was absolutely killer in the colder months. This is the original:

It has pearl sparkle braid wound around the hook shank, and chenille pulled over for the back. The problem is is that I don't know what kind of chenille that was and I want some more, cuz that stuff rocks! It's not as soft, has some sparkles in it, it's thick, and it's kind of stiff... LOL yeah I know that sounds kind of strange but I'm really describing this chenille. So if anyone has any idea about what this chenille might be, speak up. Thanks
"Mister, I love the way you wear that hat."
    "You don't know nothin'."

I like that pearl braid, I usually put a couple of coats of nail polish on it and it changes the look a little bit. Good looking jigs.
