Nice shot the jig looks great. As for the picture itself if you know what your settings are on the camera (check your EXIF data) and are manually or know how to set settings manually on your camera, I would suggest playing with the aperture (F stop) and adjust it up a stop and see what happens till you get the complete jig into focus. If that's what you're going for, if you're happy with the shot as it is leave it but if you're looking for the perfect setting then that's what I would suggest to remedy the hairs being blurred a bit. It's definitely one of the best shots I have seen posted and a nice jig as well. I am not knocking anything about what you already have but if you're looking for it to be perfect tweaking the F-stop to get the whole thing in focus is a good place to start. You will want to close the lens some or in other words bring the F-stop number higher.

It's backwards the lower the number the more open the blades inside the lens are and higher the number the more closed they are. The more open the lens is the less area you have as the focal point, meaning you narrow the window of what is in focus and what is blurred aka depth of field. If you raise the F-stop then you close the blades in the lens and you get a broader focus area since less light is let into the lens. Blah blah blah... I could go on but I think you get the idea sorry to bore you with details.

Anyways, the shot and jig as they are look great. If you're looking to make the photo completely perfect then I would suggest the above, but honestly the shot is great as it is and you should be happy with it, as is.

    Hey FF46,
That is a fine photo. What camera are you using? I have beed into photo art for 30 years and what Jubs is saying is right on. You might use a f stop bracket setting on your camera if it has one. Most point and shoots have digital macro and zoom macro and I like the zoom macro. Like everything you do you will figure out what you like. I would like some pictures like that of the JS 9 jig swap please. Just a few more days till judgement!! Take care!

The man is indeed a "Jedi master"! The greatest part of the man is he shares
    what he learns with others.
That gives the rest of us wannabees a clue to his real genius. He is also
fair, friendly and generous in his business........what a treat that is in this
day and age!!! Flat is indeed "Da Man"
