    Dipping tubes is the easiest – pretty much what grub is doing. You can make the cutting knives by taping utility razors together. The dipping rod(s) are easy to make, any metal rod, flat or round.

    Injection is another option - initial cost might be prohibitive.

    Tackleunderground.com has a bunch of info on pouring plastics – not sure you can get to the tutorials unless you’re a member. There are some good posts on dipping swimbaits...

    Tacklemaking.com might have information on dipping tubes.

    55 gallon drum should last an awful long time. Make sure you mix it well – you might want to break it down into 5 gallon buckets and then to 1 gallon jugs – easier to mix and use.
