To be totally honest, I found a set of yellow handle Klein tools wire cutters that doesn't take a big ole chunk"out da head and make for a lot of unnecessary shaping,and filing"and so far work the best for me for trimming off the sprues atop the pour" Who gots da real McCoy though,and where ya get'em...?
Sound's like a winner to Me ,put in a pretty big order on chenille today men got 5 new color's coming plus some of the hot color's in #2 and #0 for you Micro Maniacs! Man! it's been to hot down here to fish the poor little Yorkie get's ta smokin after about 30 min's in the sun can't let that hair go bad it produces some pretty awsome night jig's.
I'm Finished!!!!!! I will have them in the mail Monday. :)

Flat,it sounds like the yorkie needs a trim,;) so the poor little thing stays cool.You may need to get him or her a "good trim".:)
The Big 'in Is a 1/16 from the last swap the next one is My new 1/24 in Firetiger and chartreuse #3 is 1/24 in flame or.and craw-daddy and the litt'li bitty one is 1/72 in flame or. and dirty tomater squirrel a smallmouth paridise!

LOL nah I missed. Those big white clumps are the part of strung hackle that I didn't need. I usually recycle the marabou on the bottom of the feather for smaller jigs but the hell with it... I just threw it in the trash

The name of my jigs are "Lip Rippers". It took about an hour or better to come up with that. I made a list of possibles and crossed them out one by one until there was only one left which happened to be the first one on the list. Go figure.... Okie,this should keep you busy for about 5 seconds.

I named mine Slo Moe since they drop a tiny bit slower through the water.
I ordered a rotary vise after tying all these and received it yesterday, man I wish I had it before I tied up these jigs for the swap. I would have saved a good amount of time if I had.
Just to see the difference I tied up some Slo Moes and it cut off at least 1/3 of the time. Oh well will just make it easier on me from now on!
I can't wait to see what everyone else has tied for this.
