Now those are some awesome jigs. There's a lot of thought went into
those jigs as far as color patterns and shapes. I,m curious about that
jig with the kind of duck shaped head.......is that a wobble jig pounded
flat in the front??????? Great job boys and girls, I only wish mine looked
that good!!!!:)
I second that thought CrappieKiller3...... :confused:What in the #$@! does that thing do when it hits the water???? Definitley like the colors. All the jigs do look very good, congrats to everyone. :)
Nice work everyone!
I tell you what it is gonna be nice going to the lake knowing I have the best jigs on the lake in my box. No way do you get anything near this quality at the stores period.
JJ
It's for long line fishing Men Trolling kind'a like the craw jig it stay's down better There are some pretty talented ty'ers out their.
That duck head jig could work great around here for hot water trout and bass looking for something stirring up the bottom. Should be an awesome one for marine and salt water too. Could be a great one for bottom bouncing a leech pattern also.
Have seen something similar before but don't remember it. Will have to see if I can find it again.
everyones jigs are awsome they will be going on display with all my other swap jigs
Wow,everyone dug deep for this one. To everyone, well done!!!!
Congrats!! to everyone. It feels good to be part of this group.
FF" you mentioned these jigs were being judged on fish ability".Did you give the the judges our information on "how we tied it and what we tied it with"?or is it based on looks???still confused about that man:confused:"are the judges or one of them gonna tell us who placed 1 thru 5 or will they tell you to tell us"???
Len- yes it does

Alright the jig's have all been sorted waiting on FISHING-BUDDY CANE-POLE YOU hit the lottery I'll be sending the extra's with the jig's I'm sending I'll try to get a pic of Swapmister -Goodies later It's been flooding down here seen 2 cats and 3 dog's hit in the yard none of'im got -up! Man I've never seen such matched custom jig's gotta ask How many Ya'll re-do or throw away?
flatfish- what do ye mean by matched custom? Are ye talkin about the paint jobs?
I mean that each person's jig's were almost identical they looked almost cloned!
Not mine!! That's why I should get 4th place!!! LOL (4th place has the tying materials right?) :)
OOooooh wait, I see what ye mean.... not similar to eachother's, each jig tied by a person was identical

“CANE-POLE YOU hit the lottery I'll be sending the extra's with the jig's I'm sending”
You are the man – your professionalism and generosity speak volumes… Besides that – you tie some pretty good jigs as well.
“How many Ya'll re-do or throw away?” For this swap – zero – got really lucky/lazy.
Thnx again for a top notch swap – can’t wait for the jigs to get here. Your web site – outstanding - continues to get better and better.
? for all
How much time did it take you to tie your submissions?
For me it was ~5 hours for 30 “clones” (pouring, painting, tying, and finish).
It took me the better part of a Saturday... like 5 or 6 hours. But no pouring, just tying... bucktail takes me a long time to get right
Not sure on how long they all took.... spread them out over 4 or 5 nights @ 2 or more hours each night. Never really have kept track of how long before because I am usually veeerrry sloooow. Definetly not less than 8 or 10 hours all told with painting. Like I said, I'm slow!!:o
Just to build the excitement a little 1 judge has turned in His score's 6 point's seperate's all 25 jig's with multitude's of same score's
