After all thats been going on here I finally go started on mine last evening.
Hope to have them in the mail on Friday(5/22).I already had them painted.
We had people come to look at the house yesterday so I helped my wife clean and stuff.We had not gotten much done here in the past month with Granddaddy being in the hospital then in the nursing home.He passed away Saturday 5/16.:(:(:(:(The post is on the VA forum,in the Off Topic link.

Sorry to hear that. I just got statrted on mine also, and have 2/3 finished, and should finish the rest tonight or tomorrow, in the mail on Friday.

I have just 8 more to tie"I will be in the clear here!:D

Finally got to sling some jigs yesterday,lost more than i caught due to dry rot!he"he"I don't get out much.Spooled on some 4lb.went back at it.Still didn't make out as good as i would have liked to!Went to the big boy rod",and 4"tube did a lil better.Herrings running now, cat fishing's gonna be a blast this year.Cant wait til i start filling the cooler w/dem too!:D

Just a heads up we only have about 1 week left so if you have'nt sent please let me know when you plan on shipping. Deadline is last day of may to be in mail or you are considered out of the swap(Unless all agree your poor excuse is worth waiting for :))

whow the ho;idays are over and i got in some fishing today and did great not one crappie but i think every other fish that could bite a hook.......
so i am on the wait for the jigs as it is time to gettem riled up and on the hook .
kinda like that there scared chicken .

Jigs are in the works!

I'm working on my jigs right now and hope to get them in the mail tomorrow or Wednesday. Sorry for the delay - it's been pretty busy around here for the last few weeks. I got my dad out of the hospital a few days ago and have been busy taking care of him while he recuperates from his heart surgery. He's got a brand new heart valve, so them fish better look out when he gets healed up! haha

Ok guys/gals there is only 3 days left tell end of this swap.I dont want to be a ass but like i said in 1st post Jigs have to be mailed by the 31st. I have heard from all but 2 tyers if for some reason these 2 dont contact us or I dont recieve thier jigs by the 31st they will be considered out of swap and I will send back the jigs each of you have made for them. I dont want to count anyone out so if you have'nt let me know you have mailed them please do i would hate to recieve your jigs after i sent everyones back. If this happens you will just get your own jigs mailed back to you.

Sounds great Mudbug everyone except 2 have been mailed and those 2 i havent heard fron since they signed up so maybe they are out. I will give them tell i receive the rest of ours jigs as soon i I recieve all the jigs i will send them back right away with or without the last 2 guys.

I've seen those bags of jigs on ebay and I know they say they're using eagle claw hooks but Unless I actually saw them being poured I'd question it plus they come from China, like you IF I was buying my jigs I'd get them from guys here on the board.
