I need to know what color's work best for you Men on smallies I caught a lot of crappie on this jig I'm tying,but I wanna target Smallie's for the future of this jig?
Dark Brown / Black or Greenish Black with a touch of chartreuse up here in Pa. If you can match the crawfish color you will have a smashing hit here. Doesnt have to look like a crawfish but as close to those color as possible work great hereQuote:

Well I thought long and hard about tying up 30 of these,but I mainly need them tested the head is fine I've been fishing it for 4 months it's My new swimming shaker in a 1/16 oz craw shape .I need the durability of My new craw-paws tested before Marketing them for production there made of very forgiving foam and they come as a pair that easily attach with thread,but I haven't used them in Smallie infested waters just Blacks so far so good they'll be in 2 sizes, also if you would like to copy a studio quality color chart of marabou you can go to My web site and click on the marabou page sometimes good things take awhile!

Very nice craw, would kill the smallies in a brown/green pattern. Not sure how well the head would work in the river I fish, lots of rocks and think it may wedge the lip in between rocks pretty good... not sure. Are you thinking of darker colors for the claws... after your test phase of course? Nothin like putting my cart before my horse...:DQuote:

well sir i am just geing ready to slap some thread to some hooks so hopefully they will be there by next week if good lord willing and the creek don't rise it has been doing nuthing here but raining fior the past 3 days kinda sucks was gonna go today but rain wind and 50 degees out so i stayed home and hugged on the wife a little .
