Thread: official shellcracker jig swap#1 sign up

Jump in give it a whirl what you might do might work here and it could be something I wouldn't have try'ed .

Allright Flatfish, you've convinced me. I'll go ahead and sign up for it. Just hope you guys don't laugh too hard at my stuff. I think I have a good pattern in mind for something I think will work pretty well, just have to see if I can do it on a vise. Most of what I've done so far, and most of the stuff I've read up on has to do with Fly tying, but I think I can take some of that and make a really nice looking shellcracker jig. I'm going to try to make a few tonight while at my buddys house and hopefully get some pictures of them and post em up to see what you guys think of them. They will NOT be your typical jig, but that might make the difference I'm hoping to get from these. I've used something like what I'm trying to make before and just KILLED the fish with it. Hope I can make something that will catch some fish.
