    drfish, I tie shad darts, mostly for me. They are deadly jigs on crappie, but most folks don't seem to want to use them. One of the colors I use a lot here in West Texas where the water is usually dark-muddy is black head with a pink tail. I'm looking forward to seeing the pink squirrel tail up close, I think it will be a great addition to tails. I use pink bucktail.

    well I'm now "hooked" on trying me some shad darts!!! that's one thing i love about these swaps (besides meeting stellar folks!!).... finding new ideas and methods!

    Awesome!!! Can't wait for this week to be over!!! The moment I get the very last package in, those jigs will be sorted and back into the mail before you can sing "John Jacob Jingleheimerschmidt" backwards while doing the limbo in sock-feet on a linoleum floor that's just been waxed and had hair spray sprayed on it ..... yeah, you laugh.... just go try it and see how easy that is!
