I'm using a Canon 400 something... I put it on "Digital Macro" and then go through the menu thing and set the picture type to "Vivid" and then set lighting to "Auto".
Next I go through several colors of paper until I find one that really helps the jig to stand out. Then I get the camera up close and make sure that the jig fills the screen and then I take the pic.
I then use PhotoShop or some other editing tool and resize the pic to 640x480 and then crop it from there if I have to. My camera is a few years old but my next one will definitely have that anti-shake option!! It's frustrating when the pic is all blurry cause your hands moved while the pic was being took!! ARGH!
Now... when was that next swap starting up?
