    Thumbs up jig swap

I haven't got a problem with my name on the list, but would like to know what we are tying first. I have a lot of materials, but wouldn't want to be held to tying something I don't have materials for. I don't think it would be fair to someone else that wants in.
Huge thanks to ejones1961 for holding this swap.

Guy's I assure you the pattern will not be very specific. In the past its been very much up to the tyer as to what to tie.You will not have to run out and purchase anything to submit your jigs !

as for the swaps... i've been on quite a few....

the ones i've been on goes as follows.... let's say we get 15 tyers to commit.... well if we each tie up our favorite jig, you'd make 14 copies of that jig and then you'd mail that to the swapmeister.... he then takes all the jigs and sorts them out so that you get 14 jigs (each 1 from each member of the tying party).... now you have 14 new jigs in your hands and can see new materials and new tying methods first hand!!

I've been on swaps where we agreed to tie 5 patterns... so if this were the case here... and we had 15 committed tyers... the you would tie 14 jigs of each pattern (that's 70 jigs total!!)... but you get 70 new jigs!!! See how it can all add up??!

So i'd recommend starting out slow and build it up as the tyers see fit!

Can't wait to get this one started!!!
