This is a true statement Skip. A jig is a jig. Learn to tie a calf tail or a chennille jig or learn to tie a Marabou jig or a Clouser Jig and go from there experimenting with fur and feathers and other items. Use Krystal flash for scales etc.

I have tried to help people learn to tie a basic jig that will work. I just don't have the time to get into swapping. Don't get me wrong. For fly tiers it is probably a great idea. For jig tiers, I'm an old fashioned guy. What has worked in the past is a chennille jig, a marabou jig, some artificial plastic, or a minnow. That is all I need for Crappies.

Just my two cents. Keep the change.:D :D :D :D
