What we need now is to have more of you sign up to host a jig swap. Check the board for all the details. It's simple and as a bonus, you get to receive the packages one at a time. Opening the jigs and seeing all the goodies is enough on its own. Plus most of the guys add a few extra jigs or materials for the host. So be sure to sign up today!!!

How do you guys like the new format of 1 jig swap per month?
I personally like it better than the old way. Before the swaps seemed to drag on for a couple months and we still had some waiting until the last minute to tie and send their dozen or so jigs (myself included). REMEMBER: This is your jig swap board and without your participation it will lose its appeal.

Another question is, what do you think of posting your jig pictures?
I like the element of surprise seeing the jigs when I open the package. But I also value this board as a place to share and learn. Like when someone post their jigs with a new color or material. You can interact and ask, What? Where? and How? I enjoy that part of the swaps as well. Tell us what you think.....

These jig swaps are great! This is my second time (and I just started tying a couple of months ago) so I'll get a couple more under my belt before I sign up as a host.

One per month is just right for me. First week of the month I see what kind of jig and sign up. I get my heads from RonDon so they are ready to go. I powder paint so that's quick. Then I start making 2 or 3 each night while I'm on the computer. Second week I see what the total number of tiers is and finish jigs. Then it's off to the post office and I'm done for the month!

I vote for NO pictures of your swap jig till they are received! I too like the element of surprise. In these days of instant gratification there is little left to anticipate.
