UG - No clue on the snake, i classify them loosely..... black water snakes and striped water snakes, this was the striped variety. :p This one was maybe a foot & a half long and they are all over in the small streams right now. They get out of my way pretty quickly, so they don't bother me too much. Only once did about a 2.5' one (black one, i remember well) think my leg looked like a resting spot while i was out wading........ THAT bothered me!!!!!

Soswine - Ahh, don't worry about it. You'd be tying alot to keep me supplied through the year. :D I loose alot of gear as you will see. I've got pictures of all the jigs so should be able to re-produce most of them. But would like to know the chenille name? Think i threw away all the toe tags when they went in my river box, lesson learned. :o

Fly Buster - Tied on your Big Bad Black & Blue jig today.....

Had many followers and lookers but this was the only one that actually wanted its picture taken. Unfortunatley..... on a cast to a deeper hole, i got hung up. With all the new weed and algae growing, the bedrock is what i like to call "snot rock" and i wanted to keep my work clothes dry..... so down to the deep blue goes another outstanding jig.............

Doubt i will be getting out monday, calling for couple inches of rain this weekend and into next week so my river will most likely be blown out for awhile. I will get to the other jigs though, stay tuned.
